FUNCTION (NMC):-
1. To determine the qualification
of doctors and to provide registration
certificate by taking licensing
examination for new doctors.
2. To give recognition to medical
institutions for providing formal
studies in medical science and
training.
3. To formulate policies related
to curriculum, admission, term
and examination system of teaching
institute of medical education
and to make recommendation for
cancellation of registration and
approved by renewing and evaluating
such system/procedure.
4. To formulate necessary policies
and to make Code of Conduct to
run doctors profession smoothly.
5. Other:-
Active participation in
making National Health Policy.
